About IPI

About Conference

Polymers are in important raw material in present day Packaging. The light weight of polymers, relative ease of processing and fairly good availability is all responsible for the growth of Plastics in Packaging.

Today 70% of packaging materials consumed in Plastics be it Rigid Packaging of bottles caps, containers or Flexible Packaging laminates or Thermoforming blisters or PP corrugated sheets for cartons or Tubes.

Packaging over the years has changed from being made just to contain the product to how it is seen as the first moment of truth to the consumer when it comes in contact with the pack.
