NOTICE

For Annual General Meeting

Notice is hereby given that the 25th Annual General Meeting of Indian Plastics Institute will be held on Wednesday the 29th September 2010 at 5.00 p.m. at AIPMA Auditorium, of the All India Plastics Manufacturers’ Association, AIPMA House, A-52, Road No.1, MIDC, Marol, Andheri (East), Mumbai 400093, to transact the following business:

1. To confirm the Minutes of the 24th Annual General Meeting (2008-2009) of Indian Plastics Institute held on 5.00 p.m. on Friday the 25th September 2009, AIPMA Auditorium, of the All India Plastics Manufacturers’ Association, AIPMA House, A-52, Road No.1, MIDC, Marol, Andheri (East), Mumbai 400093.
2. To consider and adopt the Annual Report of the Governing Council, Auditors Report and the Audited Statements of Account for the year ended 31st March 2010.
3. To appoint auditors for the year 2010-2011 and to fix their remuneration.
4. Any other business with the permission of the Chair.

N.B :

1. If at any General Meeting, the requisite quorum is not present, the meeting shall stand adjourned for 30 minutes, and immediately thereafter the meeting shall proceed to transact the business set out in the notice convening the meeting, the members present constituting the quorum.
2. Only Members who have paid their subscription upto the year 2010-2011, and are not in arrears are eligible to attend and vote in the Meeting.
3. Any member wishing to bring before an Annual General Meeting any motion not relating to Ordinary Business shall give notice thereof to the office of IPI not less than 2 weeks before the date on which such meeting shall be held, and no such motion shall come before the meeting unless notice thereof has been given.
