IPI in Plastindia Foundation 2009 Exhibition

Plastindia Foundation 2009 Exhibition is fast approaching. As one of the founder members of Plastindia Foundation, IPI played an important role during the last PIF 2006 exihibition by managing the AAP Stall.

It has been observed in the past, that business visitors from India and abroad come with high expectations to the Plastindia Exhibition to know and understand the latest innovations in plastics and also to market their own products. This exhibition has become so huge that many a time their specific enquiries on availability of products, processes, safety, machinery and services do go unattended causing disappointment to many.

Against this background, IPI, an institution which primarily imparts technical training to industry professionals has decided to repeat a unique Add-on Service i.e. value addition to business visitors who will be visiting the Plastindia Exhibition from all over India and abroad, in February 2009.

To guide exhibitors in the exhibition and also to educate the visitors on Plastics, Polymers and its multifarious applications, we have developed the concept of the AAP Stall which was first launched in the Plastindia Foundation 2006 exhibition. This is a novel project conceptualized with the aim of providing an additional support system to PIF 2009 Exhibition. Last time the feedback received from business visitors was quite encouraging and appreciative.

The AAP stall i.e. ‘Anything About Plastics’ will be completely managed by an Expert Panel of IPI Professionals on all six days of the Plastindia Exhibition. We shall be availing of at least 40 to 50 panel experts for consultancy services of AAP. Our expert panel will enlighten the business visitors on the field of plastics & polymers & guide them properly.

The Expert Panel will represent a wide spectrum of the Plastics Industry. Their areas of expertise would include Machines, Material, Polymer Additives, Polymer Analysis, Environmental and Regulatory issues, Product Design, Education & Training, Dies & Mould, Trouble shooting and even guidance on benchmarking. The Panel will also help visitors with specific interest to identify stalls at Plastindia.

In addition, visitors to the stall will be invited to bring along samples of their products which they may need to be developed, for examination and advice from the experts. This would make it worthwhile for potential / existing users of Plastic Packaging components, items, products etc. to visit “Plastindia 2009” Exhibition.

This is a pioneering effort and we have conceptualised this idea to offer knowledge service to the visitors free of cost, as one of the attractive new features at the Exhibition.

There are some grey areas in Plastics & Polymers which need more attention, explanation and clarification to the people engaged in or interested in anything concerning Plastics.

During the Exhibition IPI’s Expert Panel shall be rendering the following value addition services for the benefit of business visitors.

* Free professional guidance on Plastics to business visitors.

* All questions, doubts and queries on Plastics, Processing, Equipments and

  otherrelated topics will be answered by our expert panel free of cost.
