KOLKATA CHAPTER

Indian Plastics Institute – Kolkata Chapter, organized the Windsor Endowment  Lecture Programme on 18th March 2010 in the Conference  Hall of Indian Plastics Federation, Kolkata at 5.00 p.m.

The programme was attended by Mr. Francis Pinto, IPI Chairman.

The presentation was made by Mr. J. Majumder, Regional Head and Mr. A. A. Bhattacharya, Manager – Customer Relations of Windsor Machines Ltd., Kolkata on “LATEST TREND IN SERVO DRIVEN TECHNOLOGY IN INJECTION MOULDING MACHINES AND ITS BENEFIT TO THE MOULDERS”

At the outset Dr. N. R. Bose, Chairman, Kolkata Chapter, thanked Mr. Majumder of Windsor Machines Ltd., Kolkata for accepting our invitation to deliver the Endowment Lecture.  Dr. Bose also thanked    Mr. Pinto for sparing some of his valuable time to come all the way to Kolkata and attending the Lecture Programme which worked as a great inspiration to all of us at Kolkata Chapter.

Dr. Bose further said that as Mr. Pinto was previously with Windsor, he must be knowing more about the organization and requested Mr. Pinto to say a few words on the subject.  He also requested Windsor management for further improvement in their new generation machines.

Mr. Pinto then narrated his experience with Windsor during his tenure in the Company and requested Mr. Majumder of Windsor Kolkata to throw more light on the recent developments in Windsor Machines in more detail.  Thereafter the presentation followed.

Mr. Majumder and Mr. Bhattacharya then made the audio-visual presentation on the subject in all technical details. They also narrated the improvements they have made in marketing and sales of Windsor machines.  The presentation was very impressive after which lively interaction with the participants followed.

The programme was a success in all respects as it was attended by 30 participants.

The lecture came to an end with the vote of thanks by Dr. N. R. Bose followed by High Tea.
